While
grants and large foundation awards have allowed us to purchase and renovate the
building, the Wade Center relies on the regular, generous giving
of individuals and businesses in the greater Bluefield area for the largest part
of our budget. As you can read about on other pages of this Web site, the needs of our community are great. But if we all do our part, we can equip the next generation for success in life.
We hope to raise $500,000 through our "Wade Wishes" campaign. We are asking supporters to consider making a large one-time donation to allow us to expand our program and serve twice as many children. Those who donate $500 will be recognized as a Friend; $1,000, Fellow; $2,500, Benefactor; $5,000, Honored Humanitarian; $10,000 and above, Visionary. Many people feel called to give monthly to help children in other nations. We're hoping many people will do the same for children right here in our own community.
If you would like to donate a smaller amount each month automatically, please use the donate button to the right. If you prefer mailing a check each month, please e-mail us or call us using the contact information at the bottom of the page. We will be glad to send you convenient reminders and return envelopes each month. We welcome monthly gifts and one-time gifts of all sizes.

We also have many positions open for volunteers who will donate their time and expertise. Whether
it is plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, sports coaching, office work, tutoring,
or just loving children in caring mentoring relationships, people with all types
