This fall, Dr. Phil visited the Wade Center to kick off the Toys For Tots program. While here, he had several surprises for us!

Several of the older students waited blindfolded in the music room. Even the staff didn't know what was in there.

You can tell by our reaction, we weren't expecting what we saw!

And the biggest thrill of all was meeting Dr. Phil!

Dr. Phil's TV crews shot our interaction, while the kids tried the guitars on for size and mingled with Dr. Phil and Robin.

Twenty Fender acoustic guitars...

...and twenty Fender electric guitars and six Casio keyboards... what a gift! Plus, we got all the amps, stands and music we would need to get started.

Next, it was down to the gym, which was packed with our after-school students. Each one received a nice Christmas gift from Toys For Tots.

The Marines were on hand to help give out the gifts.

But the biggest surprise was yet to come. The Renuzit Corporation gave us this 2008 van and $5,000 to help with van-related expenses. And Norfolk Southern awarded us a $25,000 grant as part of Dr. Phil's visit.
